The location

unfortunately there have been several issues with the apartment which have affected our experience.
The first issue I reported was the TV/remote, which I reported around an hour and a half after checking in. We followed the suggestions given to us, including trying the buttons on the TV, but these do not work. We even came back from our day out so that we could take photographs of the back of the TV, as requested, to help identify the model and arrange a replacement remote.
We have now been told that a replacement remote can be collected tomorrow, but we are checking out tomorrow, so this doesn’t actually resolve the problem during our stay.
When we were later asked how our stay was going, I also raised several other issues. I’m not certain whether this was Sam or another member of staff from Signature Stays, but these issues were reported while we were still in the apartment. These included the gate being extremely difficult to open, which has resulted in my sister cutting her thumb, the shower board repeatedly falling down when the bathroom door is closed, the condition of the toilet seat and toilet roll holder, the apartment being very warm with no fans, and the lack of an extension lead for the upstairs bedroom.
I appreciate that an apology has been given and that some of these issues have been said to be reported or looked into, but I don’t feel that the response we’ve received has properly addressed the complaint as a whole.
We have made every effort to cooperate and give you the information and photographs requested, including returning to the apartment during our day out to photograph the TV. Despite this, the main issue remains unresolved and we are now due to check out.
I would therefore like this to be treated as a formal complaint and would appreciate a proper response from Signature Stays addressing all of the issues raised, rather than just the arrangements for a replacement remote after we have effectively finished our stay.
