We enjoyed staying at the Ye Olde Crown, there was free parking, good breakfasts, an old bar atmosphere and friendly staff.

Breakfast was excellent, full pick of the menu.
Good central location.
Cute outdoor courtyard.
Fine for us, but had to go flight of stairs with heavy suitcases. (for benefit of other members)
Room was small, with almost no storage space, had to just keep items in suitcase on the floor.

Location, it was easy to find and accessible, traditional old pub on the high street. Free car park
The window on the room was literally looking out onto the beer garden so all patrons would look in (and they did) so we had to keep the curtains shut. The decor was tired but for one night it was fine. The menu was limited but the staff on hand were friendly.
