Location within the town was excellent, only 5min walk to store, cafes, pub, etc. The room was comfortable & warm, as was the bed. Also access to separate beautiful lounge room, with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, crockery, etc. House & property had a beautiful historic tone, in fitting with the whole town of Blackwood.
Very minor issue. Wifi could be unreliable, affecting TV reception. However normal TV reception to the whole town is difficult, due to it being surrounded by hills & mountains. This is not the fault of property owners.

Beautifully appointed
Thé heating was not quite sufficient for the freezing night. We had trouble with the lock in the room.

Comfortable bed and warm. Thoughtful touch with chocolates and tea coffee. Hosts responsive. Good location for dinner and breakfast a short walk.
Expensive for just a bedroom with shared facilities. It is not clear in the listing that there are two bedrooms available for seperate guests. It states a private bathroom and toilet but makes it unclear that these would be shared should the other room be booked. It would have been very cosy in the lounge should the other room be booked. Wifi also did not work which meant we had no tv at all.
