The room facilities were great - bed, linens, bathroom fixtures, etc. The staff was always helpful and pleasant. The pool was big enough for swimming but not all that big.
Sound proofing was not great. The room we got was beside the kitchen and staff room so it was noisy most of the time. Halfway noises we're also really heard in the room. Although the restaurant was pleasant, we found it expensive for the taste and quality. The beach front looked nice in pictures. There's also a bit of unpaved road just before reaching the resort.

I appreciate that the property features a private swimming pool situated right beside the open beach. The rooms are also well-equipped with basic yet useful amenities, including a snack bar, shampoo and soap, a toothbrush set, and towels.
The service staff are attentive - I noticed that they regularly refill water glasses during meals and promptly clean and mop the floors to help prevent any accidents.
The manager was diplomatic & later on provided two slices of complimentary cake and a bottle of wine to compensate for what was described as a “misunderstanding” regarding their strict outside food policy, after we raised our concerns.
1. The overnight rates are excessively high, regardless of whether the booking is made on a weekday or weekend.
2. The property is located at the far end of Calatagan, where, unfortunately, the beach water quality is not ideal. Additionally, there are no nearby stores, clinics, or restaurants within convenient reach.
3. The surrounding area includes shacks and camping sites, some of which play loud music that can be heard clearly from the pool area, affecting the overall ambiance.
4. I pre-ordered breakfast for 12 persons at 6:00 AM, and the staff initially acknowledged my request. However, after two hours, I was informed that the order had been forgotten.
5. I booked 4 rooms and, as a courtesy, personally called in advance to clarify their policy on outside food. I was informed of a corkage fee of ₱1,000 per kilogram or, alternatively, that outside food could only be consumed in the parking area. After raising my concern regarding this unusually strict policy, the management later apologized and revised their terms.
6. Given that outside food is not permitted and there are no nearby dining options, guests are effectively required to dine at the in-house restaurant. However, during our stay, several menu items (such as pizza and fries) were unavailable due to lack of stock. Inconsistencies also in their servings meant for 2-3 people or sharing.
7. We experienced multiple power interruptions, approximately three to five times throughout a single night.
As we continue to support local businesses, we also hope for a level of consideration and practicality in return. A more guest-friendly approach will surely encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
Additionally, we hope management can consider a more flexible and understanding policy on outside food, especially given the current rise in costs. Allowing reasonable options for guests - particularly for families or large groups, would make a big difference in overall experience.
