We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit and all facilities were clean and modern. The coffee bar and provided k-cups and tea were a welcome amenity after a long travel day. We used the smaller pool one day and it was clean and well maintained. The apartment is walking distance to the theater district downtown, which was very convenient. While the neighborhood seemed safe, we appreciated the gated entrance. The only thing other renters should know is that this is a studio, not a one bedroom as advertised. It was fine for us, but if you are looking for separation of the living and bedroom spaces, this is not it. I also expected a pull out couch as it is listed as sleeping 3, but really only comfortably sleeps 2 people who will sleep in a queen sized bed together. There is a camp style cot provided, but would probably only be good for a young child. It was still perfect for us and a very comfortable stay. We would stay here again if in Houston.
