The location was lovely and very convenient to explore Achill the hosts were very kind and accommodating, the apartment was clean and well kept. Check in was very smooth and the host provided good suggestions and brochures for the area which was nice.
It's well suited for a quick stay, considering the area, price, and set up. It's perfect for someone planning to be out and about a lot and for a brief trip, but isn't super well suited for longer-term stays.

It was very clean, newly done up and the keys easy to collect if you arrive late. Has huge amount of car parking space.
Lakeview, the upstairs flat that we stayed in, had a steep industrial type stairs up to it. I can't image anyone with kids or a older people wanting to negotiate these metal stairs. View out is onto a large tarmac yard, and some ruins of outbuildings with a view of the sea in the distance. There was no storage space for bags in the compact main bedroom. Kitchen/dining area is functional but you just wouldn't hang out there. No outdoor garden space to chill in just a huge car parking area.
