The property itself is centrally located, just down the block from groceries, and is oozing charm. There is a nice little courtyard space around the corner that's something of a secret garden, though I can't say much about it as I was too busy to make use of it. You could be forgiven for thinking you're in old brownstown loft (Unit 6 ,at least) if you didn't know what was on the other side of the door.
For such a large area dedicated to the kitchen, there was almost nothing to use in it. The one pan and one pot were both very small and both teflon and plastic handle so they couldn't go in the oven. There were no kitchen knives, only a couple steak knives. Instant coffee available (nice gesture) but no kettle; coffee pot and filters available, but not ground coffee. The fridge has a water/ice dispenser in the door but it's not connected so it doesn't work. The cooking utensils were really poor quality. For such a nice looking kitchen, I would hope it would be at least minimally equipped to do real cooking, or else I don't understand the point.
