Great atmosphere. First impression, pulling up, the surrounding area feels a little sketchy, but.. once you get there.. the Salt Ranch is BEAUTIFUL and gated with side street entrance. The owners had a vision to revitalize a stunning piece of history and executed it with perfection. Staff is phenomenal. Only about 15 minutes from downtown.
No coffee pot in the room. Free coffee available at the bar in the main house but it was quite a wait in the morning. Minor minor detail

The room was very comfortable, the property very cool
Would've given them an excellent score except on two occasions the wifi controlled locks didn'twork and our door wouldn'tlock necessitating staff intervention, and on multiple days despite putting sign on door to tidy the room the room did not get cleaned, even after not putting the sign out in case it was mistaken for do not disturb. Small glitches I'm sure will be worked out.

The room was very clean, the beds were firm and had nice duvets, the ceiling had lights so you could see your things in the room, the main house was beautiful, and the vibe was positive.
The faucet had VERY little water flow, and the shower door was literally hinged on in the wrong direction and there was no handle on the shower door, so a child could not take a shower in there and let him out of the shower by himself. I think they need a new plumbing company. The pool was also a lot smaller than it looked in the pic online.
