The furnishings and the decor were comfortable and nicely done. It is small but not at all cramped. We stayed in the lower level which was perfect for 2 people. There were other people above us but we barely heard them.
The bathroom is a disaster for anyone who cannot easily walk up stairs. There are 4 stairs up to the bathroom and there is a notice on the stair railing saying NOT to use it for support. I was very uncomfortable both up to the bathroom and going back down to the main level. There was no dishwasher ( that was OK) but there was no dish drainer. The small refrigerator has no ice maker and there were no ice cube trays. We had to purchase a bag of ice.
