only booked a few hours before we arrived after being let down with issues at another place, but the cottage was prepared for us and hot tub up to temperature so we could use it straight away. Beautiful and comfortable cottage with everything we needed from a welcome bottle of bucks fizz, bathrobes, toiletries, welcome pack with tea, coffee, brioche, Arriving at such short notice the owners couldn't do enough for us, so much so that we asked Leah to sit and have a glass of prosecco with us and gave us recommendations for a Sunday lunch. Felt like we arrived as customers and left as friends! Lovely setting around a couple of lakes and was very peaceful. Highly recommended.
Only thing was it would be nice to have a pub to walk to but it meant walking on the road so we drove there. Leah did say taxis were available and even offered us a lift to the pub though! There is a lovely little bar on the site but limited opening hours depending on how busy they are / season.

Love everything about it. So quiet and peaceful. And just a beautiful place to stay.
If I had to pick something id say the bed was a little too soft for me personally but that's nothing major.
