Rethink this location if you want to stay sane

The only thing that was a saving grace for this weekend was where this property was located. Other then that the entire experience with this property was horrible.

This property was not what was advertised. The process to even gain access to the building was horrible. There were 3 other gusts trying to get in as well. Then once inside, it had no windows, it had a broken thermostat that stayed below 65 degrees and the smoke detectors kept beeping and instead of sending someone out they told us to get on a chair and take the batteries out, of 6 smoke detectors. We did that and they still beeped. We had to physically remove them from the ceiling as they kept beeping every 10 seconds. There were gnats all over the kitchen and bathrooms. There was what looked like chocolate on main bedrooms bed spread. Looked like it was tried to be wiped off but was stained. This was the worst experience I have ever had staying at a location. There were homeless people sleeping in the stairwell (of a locked building) and the parking. Let's not get into the parking situation. Getting a hold of anyone to help was like putting clothes on a wet toddler. You call, they do not answer, they text you, hey we missed your call. You call back, same thing. Endless loop until someone calls you back. Check in should not take almost an hour.

Checking in/retrieving key fob was convoluted process, as it is done via remote system and links. Without the help of another host who happened to be there, would have been frustrating. Had to call Goldlinx several times for help.

Avoid this place

Ample space. Good location. Gym.

It was really difficult to obtain the key fob. The apartment smelled badly. The kitchen had maggots. Then their system locked us out of the apartment. Avoid.
