Great Apartment!!

When we finally open the door, it was late, we were tired, there was a terrible smell, but the lay out of the place looked nice. We went out to eat , when we came back and used the bathroom sink a strong smell of sure came out, also when we flushed the toile and the next morning when I shower a strong sure smell came out. The toilet run all night, the refrigerator was very hot. I called Landing to complained about it and said I was going to contact Expedia and ask to be relicated to a hotel for false advertising, they send maintenance around 10:30 am. Maintenance explained that those things happened when the unit is not in use continuasly. They flushed the water heater, fixed the toilet, try to fix the refrigerator, with no luck, they end up bringing another refrigerator. After a three hour ordeal they left and the smell wasn’t there any more.
Beside that the place was lovely, great location, 2 great restaurant in walking distance, well light. The maintenance supervisor of the building complex was very profesional and apologetic.

I was originally informed that check-in time was 3 PM. And I requested an early check-in time right away, five days before my stay. I was told that as soon as my plane lands,(10 am) I was to call and ask if it was available.
I tried calling and did not get through to anyone until 3 o'clock when I pressed the button saying it was an emergency and I needed help. When I finally spoke to someone, they informed me that check-in time was now 4 PM and that I would get my instructions on how to enter in at 3:30. When I asked to speak to the general manager who originally told me to call once my plane landed, I was also told that he was not available over the weekend.The funny thing is, when I went into the building and chatted with a lady at the front desk, she told me that they have people complain about this all the time. Promise to be in at a certain time and then never anyone available to answer their questions and you don't get in until much later than you expect.
When we finally did get into our building, it was beautiful and spacious and just what we needed, but I could not believe how dirty the floor was. I had to sweep the floor because the more I walked on it the more my feet got dirty. My feet were literally black a half an hour after I got to our building.
There was also a dead gecko laying on the floor. Totally scared, my daughter, and she was freaked out for the first evening.
It's a great place, and great location, but terrible "Manager" and cleaning staff
