Located 650 meters from the slopes of the Arêches village resort, this prime location lets you enjoy magnificent hikes to high-altitude lakes—through alpine pastures and hamlets with traditional houses—in every season. In summer: go hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, or explore the legendary routes of the Cormet de Roselend and the Col du Joly. In winter: the ski resort offers 50 km of slopes across two areas and a vertical drop of over 1,200 m. Snowshoe and hiking trails are available nearby. You can also explore the local heritage along the Chemin du Baroque. A nature-filled, rejuvenating stay surrounded by fresh air awaits you. A bright and airy cottage offering a lovely view of the Beaufortain mountains, in the heart of the authentic village of Arêches. L’Éclipse is a peaceful retreat, ideal for recharging your batteries in tune with nature and the changing seasons. Here, the owner—a baker—shares her love of good food and welcomes her guests with special care. Access via a gentle slope from the parking spot in front of the house (when there is no snow; 1 space). Kitchen-living room-sitting area, wood-burning stove (first fire included; subsequent fires cost €15 for 4–5 logs and kindling). 3 bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom (shower) (2 double beds 160x200 cm / 1 double bed that can be joined to form a 180x200 cm bed with en suite bathroom).
