We had a great time. It is an older house but wonderful. It is in the country with lots of green fields surrounding it. The porch with the rockers was my favorite place to be when we weren’t site seeing, It was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house with a lot of charm and tons of space. The house is very old, so it has its quirks and signs of age, but it was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Horseback riding on the property was also great bonus!

Very kid and pet-friendly quiet location within a short drive to downtown Frederick with all its urban offerings but at the same time very quiet and close to state parks, lakes, falls and hiking. But the star attraction are the horses - one of the hosts offers riding classes and you can either take a beginner's loop on property or if you have some experience a beautiful ride along the banks of the Potomac down by Brunswick (she will drive the horses down there from the farm and meet you there). The hosts were kind and gracious. Given the distance to metro DC this would make a fantastic long-weekend getaway. The house itself is comfortable for up to 6 adults and quite charming.

Check-in was super easy. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. There was one hiccup that came up and were very quick to resolve. The house itself is a great historic home. They have done a great job modernizing it. My only feedback would be to have more supplies in the kitchen to accommodate preparing foods like knives, cutting boards, trays, etc. But otherwise, very happy with our stay and the beautiful property, and it being dog friendly!
