About this cabin rental
Get away from the hustle of every-day life and unwind in this totally private and peaceful cabin with modern amenities. The enchanted cabin overlooks Big Mantrap lake, a prize-fishing lake. The space is completely private and has its own dock. Mantrap allows very limited development, so you'll only see people if that's what you want! Your only noticeable neighbors are across the lake. The cabin and property are the perfect spot if your goal is the total peace and quiet of the northwoods, or if you're more active and want to take advantage of the pristine waters of Big Mantrap for water sports or big time fishing. Typical fishing experiences include Muskie, Northern Pike, and Bass (among others). The cabin is perched up high and near the end of a peninsula at the mouth of a calm and quiet fishing cove (known as a prime fishing spot)!

Great cabin, very clean and nicely decorated. Did get a little warm in the main bedroom with just the a/c unit in the loft area the few days it was humid and in the 80s while there. Definitely a woodsy retreat!

We loved everything about this lovely cabin perched on the hill. Jeannie is the perfect host. The cabin is wonderfully appointed in a quiet, remote setting. Brilliant sunsets every evening. Mantrap Lake is a gem with so many bays and picturesque settings around every bend. Trumpeter swans trumpeting, loons continually calling, herons, eagles, sandhill cranes. Excellent fishing, we easily caught bass and crappies. What more could one ask for. It is a slice of heaven on earth. Dan and Marlene
