The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The room was very clean, with tea, coffee and a biscuit available. The pillows were memory foam and the bed was very comfortable.

The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, clean and quiet. Plus, the air conditioning wasn't too noisy.
The reception staff was efficient and helpful, and the cleaning staff was very nice.
The breakfast food and drinks were varied and tasty.
The hotel exterior was well decorated with plenty of colourful flowers. And the amenities around it were very handy: supermarket, petrol station, coffee shop, etc...
But the best was Marius, the cat! 💜
The mattress was too firm compared to the softness of the pillows. We still managed to sleep, but with pain in our necks.
The sheet tray should be put away everyday instead of being left in the corridor, otherwise it looks messy.
In the restaurant, we didn't have the choice the menu offered, the cooking of the meat wasn't right and we felt a bit rushed to finish our meal.
The overall decor inside needed more modernity.

Room was good for one night for a family of three but on floor 5 with no lift. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel does not offer dinner on a Friday night.

The ground-floor bedroom with facilities for disabled guest was good. Breakfast was fine, but set out in a manner which made the queue very slow moving.
We booked 2 adjacent ground floor, non-smoking rooms as one of our party has mobility problems and requires support. The room with facilities for disabled (no 1) was fine, but the second room (4 - on the opposite side of the corridor) smelled ansolutely awful - we presume of animals - to such an extent we could not stay in there. The receptionist suggested we should open the window (the first thing we did, on entering the room and being hit by the pungent smell!), then claimed they clean the rooms after each pet stay. We asked her to come and smell the room for herself, but she declined. We were told the only other vailable room was on the first floor and contained 3 single beds (we'd booked a large double). This was far from ideal as there is no lift at the property and we were no longer close to room 1, but we had to accept as we could not sleep with the smell in room 4.
The stairwell smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The hallway carpet outside room 14 was threadbare. The bathroom in room 14 was tiny and there was black mould on the shower grout. There were cigarette burn holes in the bedlinen.
The receptionist did not look up, speak, smile or make eye contact with us, following our complaint.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely not!
