The location was convenient for access to the city, but being on a main street was very noisy at night.
Entry was very easy, keys in a lock box.
The noise overnight until early morning.
The shower head was wobbly and difficult to angle correctly.

Dirty apartment and awful service from the owner
The housekeeper that came to clean the apartment a day after was really nice. She apologised to us and bought us some tea for the inconvenience. It's was not her fault that the apartment was left dirty the previous day as she was not in charge of cleaning that apartment but she did everything she could to try to fix the problem (unlike the apartment owner)
When we arrived at the property late at night the property was very dirty, with bags of rubbish everywhere, the bedding not changed and the towels were dirty. The property owner didn't help to find an alternative place to sleep that night and he didn't arrange for someone to clean up the place until the afternoon of the day after. He refused to refund the hotel night I had to rearrange at very late hours of the night and he only refunded one night stay of the apartment. The amount of money he refunded was initially wrong. Overall, a very problematic stay and unacceptable service from the apartment owner. I would never go back there.

Unbelievably bad and possibly unsafe to stay — there was even a fire in the building
Comfy bed, good kitchen set-up.
I don’t even know where to start… upon arrival, we found the place to be run-down, and were surprised that there was no mention that it was above a pub (Joxers). However we still thought it was fine enough for a short stay. As another reviewer has said, paint peeling off the bathroom floor and in the shower, this got stuck to our feet, so the bed ended up full of large bits of paint, which we found amusing.
Things started to go bad the following day when we found there was no hot water, after a long journey it was frustrating not to be able to shower. In fairness Matheus was responsive on the emergency number, and did come over and fix things within a few hours. He was friendly.
A little after 2am Sunday morning, the fire alarm in the building went off. After a few minutes I called 999, a few minutes after that a number of guests including myself could smell smoke and burn. We were advised by 999 to evacuate the building immediately and the fire brigade arrived.
Multiple guests tried calling the emergency number, as did the fire brigade. We also messaged. All were ignored. We know that Matheus wasn’t asleep as there were blue ticks on WhatsApp that confirmed he’d read another guest’s messages.
We asked for a late check out as were standing outside the building for almost 2 hours and exhausted, we received no response.
The following morning, the water suddenly stopped. Not the hot water, there was just no water at all. This meant that we couldn’t flush the toilet, and couldn’t have a shower (yet again).
I phoned Matheus who did answer, all he had to say was that he was aware of the water issue and a professional was on their way. He also said we could check out at 12pm if we wish. In the end, we thanked him for the offer, but said as there is no water to clean ourselves anyway, we will leave at the standard check-out time. No response.
