Great stay/holiday, but not exactly what I'd expected/paid for and it wasn't cheap.
The apartment had pretty much everything you'd expect: A decent kitchen with all the usual things. The beds were comfy. TV had Apps installed so that was handy. There was a decent dining table and chairs too. The balcony was good but the table and chairs were dusty so we didn't use them. The noise at night was low/ok to sleep in (Level 6)
Bathroom was functional, but old and looked like it needed a facelift. Shower was strong and the hot water lasted ok. Apartment was smaller than the photos suggest. Location is great. There's a Woolies Metro 2 mins away and the Central Station is right there too. There's numerous Hotels, pubs, cafe's and restaurants within a 5-10 min walk.
If I'm honest, the place was a bit grimy and it had this unpleasant odour which I couldn't tell if it was the sofa, grease from the extractor hoods or something else? We put up with it. You'd notice it when you opened the front door to come in. It was a bit dusty and some areas were "sticky"to touch. Again, we just shrugged our shoulders and put up with it. Not the end of the world but worth noting here.
Worst thing that happened was the lifts broke from the Friday we arrived to the Monday when we left. I phoned a couple times and they said they'd "noted" this issue and it was being "dealt with". BS. We were on the 6th floor so having to climb those bloody stairs 4-6 times a day was a killer! I'm 52 and reasonably fit but that wasn't a nice experience. We couldn't change apartments as it was too late to do so. I hadn't signed up for that.
Have asked for compensation which was discussed and understood. Nothing yet
The MadeComfy Company I've contact have "assured" me that it's being dealt with. This has been a few weeks now and still...nothing. V.Poor in my book :(
