The hotel is located above an excellent restaurant that serves a big menu of breakfast items. It is in the historic district with the cathedral just down the street. There is a shopping mall just up the street as well. And even a Polish grocery store down the street. It is convenient to everything and the drive into Edinburgh is fairly easy and direct, about 30 minutes by car away.
Access to parking could have been a bit easier, but after we figured out where a good parking lot was the walk back and forth on the historic street was pleasant enough.

The location was excellent. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean.
We will definitely return.
Generally we liked everything. The floors,however, have a laminate finish so we could hear faint footsteps from the room above us but this did not disturb us.

Location very central, but very noisy on Saturday night
The mattresses are soft and boggy. In addition the base of our bed was broken, I did not sleep much and left with a sore back...
