The cottage was a quiet, relaxing place to stay, with a spacious back yard with plenty of seating and a fire pit (and even a trampoline). The living room couch was super comfortable! Everything in and around the property was well maintained and very clean, and the kitchen appliances were like new (with the exception of the microwave). Location was great -- a short drive to Catskill and amenities.
The kitchen was stocked with only the barest cooking essentials, and while this didn't prevent me from making a simple meal, you'll want to be sure to check what's on site before you start cooking and discover a certain utensil/dish/piece of cookware is unavailable. Also, there was no dish drainer or dish towels, so washing up was a bit of a production to clean up from. The microwave is very basic, if that's important to you.

Very comfortable, roomy, and well-appointed. Everything seems to be newly renovated and the appliances are brand-new. The backyard is wonderful and has a lot of atmosphere: sitting areas, a fire pit, and light strings overhead. Even though the property is close the main road, it is very quiet. We will definitely be back
