Clean and comfortable stay. Hot tub was a nice addition. We booked to stay with our dogs so the garden was handy. However, we didn't realise that there isn't a door directly out onto the garden. The pictures weren't very clear and we assumed there was a door straight out onto the garden round the side of the bungalow. There isn't and this means that you have to put your dog on a lead to access the garden due to the road out the front of the property. This was a faff and would have been a dealer breaker for us had we known. It also means you have to exit the garden in view of the road in your smalls if using the hot tub which isn't ideal. This would be easily resolved if a double gate was added to the side of the property that a car could still drive into to avoid losing car parking space. The step by the back gate is unlevel and we tripped on this a few times. Again this is an easy fix. There was some sort of noise that was ongoing throughout our stay. We couldn't work out what this was but maybe agricultural field spraying nearby as there is open fields nearby. If this is a frequent occurrence, a heads up would be good. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. The rest of this review is suggestions for improvement but wouldn't be deal breakers . Some of the furniture is a little bit redundant. The dresser near the back door for example doesn't really serve a purpose. It would be handy to have more practical furniture like a coat stand or somewhere to hang wet coats and dog towels near the door. Instructions for the heating would have been useful too. You can't put things like microfibre dog towels in the dryer. Maybe a retractable washing line would be handy to save the owner gas and electricity costs in warmer months. The blinds don't shut flush and let in light so if you're a light sleeper, bring an eye mask. And the shower needs tightening.
