This apartment is well priced and tucked away in a quiet but easily accessible part of the island, only 5-10 min drive via dollar bus or taxi from port Elizabeth. Or if you wish to walk, as I did often, the walk is 30 minutes roughly, along the beach on the leeward side and on the road. If you wish to do the hike to Ma Peggy, the trailhead is very nearby. Lower Bay is also a 15-20 minute walk away. The apartment is clean, spacious, very comfortable, and the closed in balcony space hace a nice view of the bay in front. Best of all was the host, Gena, who assisted with arranging a taxi for me to pick me up from the ferry, and even offered to have groceries awaiting me as she knew that shops would be closed when I planned to arrived due to timing and the Easter holiday. She assisted me with finding a tour to Tobago Cays and made me feel really at home.
If you wish to only stay in the center of Port Elizabeth, maybe this isn’t for you. If you plan to stay and explore the island for more than 2 days then this is perfect to get away from the heavier foot traffic of the port area.
