Staff were great & friendly. Food at the bistro was very good with reasonable prices.
Room was small and noisy due to equipment operating at night just outside the bathroom/toilet windows - sounded like refrigeration compressor.

The Bistro was very good, as were the log fires.
The accommodation is seriously in need of renovation; it appears to have remained untouched since the 1960s. Also, there was no TV in the room, notwithstanding that there was an aerial connection and adequate power outlets. The walls were thin, to the point of us hearing the woman in the adjoining room's snores. The late opening time (4pm) was a bit of a surprise, too; the entire venue was unattended and locked up when we arrived unexpectedly early ( around 3.30pm.) coming in from Adelaide, and the place apparently does not trade Sundays at all?
