the host was lovely the most polite and pleasant one i’ve had, the rooms were basic but nice and had storage places (wardobe, drawers, bathroom cabinet)
it came with cups, tea, coffee, sugar and milk but it didn’t come with a kettle, there was supposed to be a quiet time from 8pm but all night there was some guests being quite loud - didn’t make my experience bad as it’s not the hotels fault and the host did say if i had any problems to just let them know but i think that rule should be made more clear when checking in to avoid this problem in the future

This was a last minute booking after our original one was cancelled at very short notice. I have mobility issues and needed somewhere near the Winter Gardens as we were attending a music festival. The location was ideal. Check in was straightforward and reception staff friendly and welcoming.
Yes, the decor is a bit tired but the room had plenty of space, was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and towels, with tea, coffee, loo roll etc freely available at the entrance and in reception.
Minor niggle, but the shower curtain could do with replacing, and the outside of the shower tray needs a bit of repair work.

The staff were very accommodating and welcoming which helped make the check in smooth. When we entered the room we were greeted to a colourful and warming room that made it extremely easy to relax and wind down after a busy day.
Its difficult to find available and free parking.
