The location was nice and close to the beach and being on the canal was nice so we could fish.
There was a lot we didn’t like about this place and I wouldn’t recommend it. It started off bad when we walked into a huge puddle of water in the dining room from a leak in the ceiling. Called booking and someone came to fix it. It was hard to get in touch with anyone on this app at all, if you need assistance you can only get help by calling the property. Then they decided to schedule a land surgery during our visit which took four hours and I I had to move out of the guys way multiple times while I was fishing because I was in his way, couldn’t let my dog out to use the restroom, and my 3 year old was “bothering them”. The back yard is basically dirt. Not sand or grass. And the little bit of grass there is is so tall it looks like it hasn’t been cut in ages. The deck is so lose when my child was leaning on it, it seemed like it was going to break. There is a keypad door that you have to enter the code literally every single time you go into the house which is very annoying after a while especially when you’re hanging out outside or have kids that go in and out often. There was no WiFi password provided and no check in or checkout instructions provided anywhere either like most places would normally provide when you stay at their home. The dock was a piece of plywood that was wilted in the middle so it looked questionable to even stand on. Very disappointing stay and wish we had chose another home.
