I had the pleasure of staying at AB Villa for a short getaway on August 29th, and I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the level of service and comfort, especially for the price I paid.
The property has a wonderfully friendly and safe atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. As a solo traveller, safety is a big priority for me, and I felt completely secure throughout my stay. It is just a short, pleasant walk to the beautiful shores of Hikkaduwa. I got the peace and quiet of the villa with the vibrant beach life just minutes away.
The rooms are brand new, modern, and spotlessly clean. I particularly loved the beautifully designed European-style bathroom, which added a touch of luxury to the stay. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained.
Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared—a great way to start the day.
I honestly did not expect this level of service, cleanliness, and hospitality for the money I paid. It is incredible value for money. I only wish I had stayed longer. I am already planning my next trip to Sri Lanka and will definitely be returning to AB Villa for a longer stay.
I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and affordable place to spend their time in Hikkaduwa.
To be completely honest, there wasn't anything major that bothered me overall, everything was perfectly ok.
