Great location, clean and cute apartment with plenty of room. Be warned though that there are several flights of stairs if you have mobility issues. We were able to walk to all of the places on our list, and explore Old Town, New Town and Grassmarket easily. The host was responsive and helpful. The bonus was the cute little cafe across the street on the Royal Mile called M C and Zaza - we ate breakfast there each day. There were 5 people in our group, we had something different each day and all of us were happy. Great service and food!

The apartment was clean and tidy. Host was proactive and responsive. There are a lot of stairs (might be an issue for older folks or heavy luggage). The location is great for Royal Mile attractions, but it is also quite noisy until midnight or 1am and starts up again by 6am (traffic, sirens, people on the street).
