Recht neues Homestay mit bequemem Bett und schöner, heißer Dusche.
Die Anfahrt ist sehr schwer zu finden und es führt nur ein ganz schmaler Weg zur Unterkunft, die selbst mit dem Roller herausfordernd ist.
Das Badezimmer war nicht wirklich sauber, wir haben das Waschbecken selbst geputzt um uns wohl zu fühlen. Es gibt keine Abstellfläche für Gepäck.

This homestay is so so lovely, nestled in with local life and natural beauty. The view is so beautiful and watching the sunrise was amazing each morning! The locals are so friendly and the children are so happy and playful, it’s adorable! The homestay is so modern and comforting, the bed is soo comfy and the lighting is perfect for day and night. Deni is in fact - the best host, as she is so friendly, helpful and accommodating 24/7. She helped us so much with our preparation for Rinjani, even taking us to the shops on her scooter. The breakfast is great too, she really does an amazing job all over, thank you! Would defo recommend for before or after Rinjani, it was the perfect place to just have a break and relax, whilst exploring waterfalls and experiencing local culture 🫶⛰️🩵

Dennis Cozy Homestay didn't steal his name. The rooms are truly cozy. The matrasses are absolutely perfect and the interior gives the room a tasteful and cozy athmosphere. The shower has warm water (not always easy to find), which makes it the perfect stay after completing the Mount Rinjani hike and enjoying some well deserved rest! There is plenty of natural light coming in while keeping the perfect amount of privacy. AC at your disposal and a litle terrace in front of your room.
Denis is a real gem! A truly kind person, good cook and will make sure that you have everything you need. You can ask to do your laundry and order food for lunch or dinner at your room. Breakfast will be served at your requested time and the door is always open for a litle chat. A restaurant is currently being built additional to the homestay, to enjoy Denis good cooking in a relaxed and more social athmosphere if desired.
You can also book the Mount Rinjani hike through Dennis for a good price. Muhamed (brother) is in charge of the organisation and will make sure the biggest challenge of your life will go smoothly with amazing guides and crew.
Don't forget to pay a visit to the Sasak village while you are in Senaru.

Just take note that the homestay is still in progress and only operating for 1 year at this given moment (aug 2026). Not all rooms are entirely finished yet. This doesn't remove the cozy charm already well installed and all necessities are perfectly functioning and provided.

Denis is echt heel aardig en behulpzaam daar mankeert niets aan. De kamers zijn simpel en lastig bereikbaar. Je kan niet met de auto voor de deur komen en moet een stuk lopen. De kamer zelf is klein en kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Maar ja voor een nachtje en weinig verwachtingen is het ok. De watervallen zijn dichtbij en er zijn een restaurants in de buurt met mooi uitzicht.
De “badkamer” kan echt wel wat aandacht krijgen. Spiegeltje, kraantje vastdraaien en wat opbergplekjes. Maar nogmaals als je lekker op doorreis bent en weinig nodig hebt, prima.
