Worse than worse

Nothing

It was dirty, old and damaged beds. Building smells oil and onion. No toilet paper even. Kitchen is not clean and smelling like …

Good if you are looking for a warm bed to spend the night

It is not the fanciest hostel if you are looking for that. It does the job to sleep a couple of nights if you are looking for a warm bed though. I liked the fact that last-minute bookings were available and self-checking was smooth and easy. Staff was also very helpful.

Train line feels very sketchy. Also, I never thought Philly dorms were so pricey. $42 dollars a night (as it appeared here on Booking.com the times I booked) wasn't the fairest price considering the distance and location of the hostel. I would still come back myself because there aren't many dorms in Philly and this one (as it appears here on Booking.com) is within the range I often look for when staying at dorms.

Woke up to a rat in my bed, place is filthy and falling apart, staff were incredibly rude, felt very unsafe as I am a young female traveling alone. Very bad hostel, will never stay again
