We arrived shortly before dark and our host greeted us and we asked if we could go see his herd of sheep which included just born baby lambs and he was happy to take us around his property to visit his sheep and to see his beautiful property with growing grapes.
After returning he showed us where we were staying and showed us around to a beautiful home. Then we had a nice visit with him.
We were all impressed with our host and the property

Absolutely lovely and really well equipped cottage within Poplar Estate amongst the cherry trees and grape vines. Super comfortable with every amenity one could ask for. Great fireplace, BBQ and outdoor area with a view of the mountains.
The hospitality from Bill was excellent and extremely welcoming. We will definitely stay again next time we are down there. Also enjoyed the wine, highly recommend the 2014 Pinot Noir.
It is rare to say, but there was nothing to dislike.

This place is an amazing luxury find, very well setup, warm, private and a beautiful setting. Everything well catered for over & above normal and great communicative hosts..felt like home away from home thankyou.
The only thing I didnt love were the rustly pillows, maybe they had waterproof protectors? But not really a problem.
