Good location in the town centre and ideal for our visit to family. Breakfast was very good.

After 2 pleasant previous stays here, we were allocated a room where the television had been removed, and since we appeared to be the only people staying at the hotel it was strange we weren't given a better room. I asked to be moved to a better room right next door which was quickly arranged . However, the heating didn't come on and despite efforts to identify the problem it was only eventually resolved when I asked for a portable electric heater (which was great!). After visiting family in the evening we found the hotel completely shut and locked up at 8.30 pm - fortunately we knew from a previous stay that we could access via the fire escape and get to our room!!!
