This was a great place to stay. The owners were extremely nice and very helpful. The apartment itself and facilities are cosy and comfortable. This property is located very nicely in a village and is a comfortable distance to Alton Towers. There was a few damages but I spoke with Tom about these and he was very helpful and responded to these issues.
Both the bathrooms had a bad smell, which was worse overnight because the extraction fans was not on. However, said they were going to investigate and apologised for this.

The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, very well equipped and in an excellent condition. The location was ideal and the instructions for check-in and other elements of our stay were clear. We met the lovely, friendly cleaner as we were leaving. We would love to return…

The two beds were very comfortable. The property itself was very clean and tidy with a brilliant kitchen space. Location was convenient for taxis to Alton Towers.
Local shop had what we needed with a local Asda just up the road with basic little High Street that met our needs.
The bedding (duvets, sheets and pillows) were very comfortable, although the duvet that was supplied for the upstairs sofabed was a large single duvet with a double duvet cover.
The upstairs sofa bed. Not fit for purpose!!! Lovely to look at in a picture, but should not have been advertised as an extra sleeping option. Advice to owners is either replace or remove from advert. Nobody would sleep well on this! Impossible!!
I intentionally emailed owner to ask about iron. When told not available, I brought my own to find one in kitchen cupboard.
Originally thought great communication, but on reflection, maybe not.
Upstairs shower. Takes 3 to 4 minutes for the temperature to change after adjusting dial.
Towels. Again, wither remove from advert or replace. Worst towels I have ever experienced.
Really wanted to give higher score. Sorry. But honest comments. I hope you can rectify as the property really could have been brilliant.
