I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment was a comfortable and convenient base for a couple of days exploring Sydney, and the Surry Hills location made it easy to get around by public transport while still having a great neighbourhood to come back to.
The apartment itself was immaculately clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. I especially appreciated having a coffeepot, and the supermarket just a short walk up the street for groceries.
The host was very kind and helpful and communication was excellent. Overall, I thought this was very good value for such a convenient Sydney location and I’d happily stay here again.
A couple of things worth being aware of are that access is via a fairly tight, winding set of stairs, and there was a noticeable stale cooking smell in the shared entrance/foyer area during my stay. Neither affected the apartment itself, which was spotless and very comfortable. Also worth bearing in mind is that the area is very vibrant and there was a bit of noise from outside at night, so earplugs for sleeping are highly recommended.

De ligging in surry Hills was echt super! Het appartementje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt.
Het was heel fijn, voor ons zou het bed nog wel een topmatras mogen hebben. Dat maakt het slapen wat comfortabeler. En goed om te weten is dat het een bruisende wijk is, ook ‘S nachts hoor je vaak mensen over straat lopen en kletsen. Voor mij geen punt, voor mensen die lichter slapen zijn oordopjes dan aan te raden.
