Very disappointing and not as advertised

The location was convenient

The apartment is extremely small and very uncomfortable for two people. The bed is also far too small for two adults, especially for people with a larger frame. As soon as you open the apartment door, the bed is right there, with barely any room to move around. The bathroon was tiny and, on top of that, it was not clean. Overall, the cleanliness of the apartment left a lot to be desired. The kitchen, sleeping area and sink are all crammed into a very small space, which makes the apartment feel cramped and uncomfortable. On top of all this, we had booked the accommodation because it was advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but when we arrived, we discovered that it actually had only one bedroom. The owner himself admitted that there had been an error in the description and apologised, but neither he nor Booking offered us any acceptable solution. It was impossible for us to continue our stay under those conditions, so we had to cut our trip short and return home early. Booking did not provide us with any alternative accommodation, despite acknowledging that the listing description was misleading and did not match the accommodation we had booked. We slept very badly and had a very negative experience overall.

When I booked the apartment, it didn' have any rating, and I didn't know what to expect. It turns out to be a wonderful apartment! The apartment is recently renovated, with new and good quality electrical applicances etc. The location is just amazing - practically in the center but in a small street and it's quiet. I didn't meet the host but they responded quickly to my messages. I really enjoyed my stay and Antibes is a lovely city. I'd definitely return to this apartment.
