We're close to all the major attractions in Bardstown, Louisville, Frankfort & surrounding areas. We are in a central location for exploring the Bourbon Trail, enjoying Taylorsville Lake, taking in a baseball game in the City & tucked away just outside the hustle and bustle for quality time spent relaxing. This was a charming cottage that was perfect for our family. The location was central to all we wanted to do and was easily accessible. We realized we wanted to do more than we’d planned. In fact we had such a great time and over scheduled, we extended our stay by two more days. (Thanks Chrissy!)
We read where others had commented about road traffic and sounds, however we were not bothered by it at all. The home is well insulated and the noise was not a factor.
We are seasoned travelers and have stayed in many Vrbo’s, what we appreciate is when a host goes out of the way to make their place unique and themed, which this one was and to our specific trip interest.
If you’re looking to relax and enjoy the comforts of Kentucky, this is a great choice.
