The room was great, and the location was perfect for what we were looking for. The hosts did not repond to messages through the expedia platform. Once I was able to contact them several days after my orginal request for early check-in I was told we would be notified when our room was ready if early check-in was possible otherwise check-in is at 4pm. We arrived to the property at 4pm and still had not received check-in instructions. Called the company and then 35minutes post check in time, was sent check-in information.

Pros:
Overall good place to stay. To us it felt central to Miami, or atleast for what we were there for. There was direct access to highways and expressways. Food just down the street and we always had a place to park our rental car. The laundry in the building was convenient and easy to pay for. Building felt secure and the other residents always greeted us with a smile and a cheerful hello.
Cons:
We had an issue with the kitchen drain and the shower drain. The garbage disposal didn’t work. The room was clean overall. The sliding door didn’t close all the way unless we forced it. We didn’t know that immediately and a gecko got in the first day. Not a big deal, I just had chase it out. The A/C was loud and the temp would stay constant so it would kick on and off constantly.
There was a delay with messaging and we didn’t get out checkin codes when we should have.
