About this house rental
The peaceful atmosphere of this lovely home has everything you’ll need for a restful stay. Within a few miles of Hemlock, Canadice, Conesus, and Honeoye Lakes, enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing in the lakes or hiking, biking on the many nearby trails. Close to the Finger Lakes wine trails, local breweries, and distilleries.
You’ll have the entire home to yourself. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and there are two self-inflating twin size air mattresses.
The space
The cottage is a small home which includes a kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining area, bedroom, and a washer/dryer. We have a heating and cooling unit which you may adjust to your own comfort level.

The water is iron rich. We use a filtration system to make the water drinkable; however, it still can smell somewhat metallic although it is safe and well monitored by us and the water quality company we use. We do provide a dispenser with filtered spring water for cooking and drinking if guests would prefer.
We are located off of a main road so you will hear some traffic noise. No pets. No parties.

The Cottage in Hemlock was perfect for the 2 of us. Yet, enough room when 3 family members provided pizza the night we arrived. The drinking water provided was appreciated as was a cupboard with spices, coffee, tea and a few snackies. Wi-Fi reception was very good and there was no issue with working the TV. We were quite comfortable and also enjoyed the patio table. I can think of only item that would have been helpful....a towel holder in the bathroom for bath towels after showering.We would stay here again as it is close to family, comfortable, the price is right and Tallie was prompt in her responses and checked in us to see if there was anything we needed.If you have the opportunity, do have a meal at Galene's in Lakeville on Conesus Lake.Nice setting; good food.
