The flat is located in a quiet area of Shinjuku, just a 5-minute walk from Okubo Station and about a 12-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. The large Olympic supermarket is only a 5-minute walk away, and there are plenty of Asian restaurants in the area.
The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage. Luggage forwarding directly to the apartment is not available, but there is a Yamato Transport office just a 3-minute walk away.
Each guest is provided with one large and one small towel. During rainy weather, it was difficult to dry them, and there was no bath mat or shower curtain, so the bathroom floor could get quite wet and slippery. It would be helpful to provide an extra set of towels.
Apart from these small inconveniences, everything was great. The apartment is small but cosy and very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

This is an excellent location for a small family. We traveled with two Adults and an infant and it was ideal. The host was fantastic and was able to answer a few of my questions and was both extremely responsive and helpful. Definitely a great find and good value.
