Hotel Melk was a great location beside the Abbey and window view over the plaza.
Breakfast was simple but fresh.
Unfortunately the room we booked was very small. 2 single beds which were short in length and placed under a sloping roof which exacerbated the closed in feeling. Long flight of stairs also to our room.
We stayed 3 nights and 2 full days but this was a little too long. One day in Melk is sufficient.

Was clean and tidy.
Was very hot no air con , we need to sleep with open windows and whole night was a loud group of people on the terrace. Realy barely could we sleep

The location is perfect — right in the center of Melk with a beautiful view of the abbey. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast selection could be a bit more varied, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very stable.
