The location is fantastic and the views are stunning. Very relaxing place to stay.
Unfortunately something had died under the house (mouse, rabbit) so there was a horrendous smell in the bathroom so we couldn't really use it for showering. No ones fault and it can not be helped, it just put a bit of a dampener on what was a relaxing weekend.

Lovely location, just out of town. The set up in the cottage was great, lots of thoughtful details e.g. pet barrier for the deck area, blankets and nice spots to read or relax (inside and out). Downstairs bed was very comfortable. Lovely older era SW vibes, which for me is a great comfort. Great communication from host regarding what was and wasn't provided. Wonderful location for a quick stop at the Golden Valley Tree Park for walks etc.
As a solo traveller looking for solitude the only thing I could fault was that at times neighbours could be heard chatting- not loud and not offensive, just for my purposes it was lovely when all I could hear was birds and farm animals nearby. Hosts were wonderful with the level of support that was available but without being at all intrusive.

Easy to find, great central location, close to town but not too close. So many places to roam or comfortable to just enjoy the peace. Excellent being able to provide our own food. Good kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of hot water.
