Disappointing - Cancelled at Last minute

Nothing

Absolutely terrible experience. After booking through Booking. com, few days before checking in, I contacted the owner and was told everything was fine. But after we arrived, they suddenly claimed there was a “maintenance issue” and told us to cancel the booking. They didn’t answer us properly later that, no apologise, and made ZERO effort to help us find another room. We left with no any alternative accommodation at the last minute after travelling all the way there. Completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Booking.com seriously needs to investigate this property because I’m clearly not the only guest facing this kind of issue with these property owners.
