great location just a short walk from hongdae station exit 1. very convenient for getting anywhere or dropping off your bags before going out to explore.
staff are friendly and always greet you when you pass by, at the same time there’s an easy self check in system which makes check in super fast.
everything was very nice and clean, including the showers. i appreciate the signs all over saying that there are quiet hours, and emphasising not to pack your luggage during those times too! i slept without earplugs and didn’t have any issues.
not a lot of space to keep your things - the personal lockers aren’t big enough for a standard backpack. was okay for me, but take note if you have a lot of things!
i also felt that the layout with the showers being past the lounge area was very awkward - having to shuffle past people socialising when i’m on the way to the shower is a strange experience!

I booked this accommodation solely because I was looking for an affordable place to stay, but Lazy Cube exceeded my expectations. Especially considering the price I paid, I was impressed by how clean and well maintained the space was. Common areas cleaned daily, free amenities such as skincare/haircare, towels and slippers provided, free coffee, etc. I’m a light sleeper and was worried about noise in the dorms, but it was so quiet that I didn’t even need earplugs.
As a solo traveller I was looking forward to meeting people at the hostel, but found people generally kept to themselves. I wonder if there’s a possibility for the hostel to facilitate social events or connect the people who are looking to socialize.
