This is the second time we’ve stayed in this unit! I got married in 2023 while staying here & we decided to come back again for a “honeymoon remix”. Everything was perfect until check out.
Prior to arrival, I was sent an email by Evolve & Sunshine Vacation Condos that stated check in was after 5 & check out was prior to 11. At 10am day of check out, the cleaners came into the condo demanding to know why we were still there. I explained my emails stated checkout was 11. They called the property manager who told me we were wrong & whoever sent the email was wrong. That she had been managing this unit for 5 years & it’s always been 5 pm & 10am. I showed the cleaners the proof of the email, while the property manager was still on the phone being ugly. Stating her cleaners needed to be compensated & she was calling the owners. Thankfully the cleaners left, but this was a total invasion of privacy. God forbid we were naked when these strangers walked in… I definitely think communication needs to be better between owner/property management/sterlingreef. This wasn’t okay. My family has been staying in PCB for 20 years & never experienced anything like this.
