Amazing! Definitely recommend and definitely planning on staying again.

Absolutely beautiful, homely, comfortable and clean. The kids absolutely loved it. The weighted blankets were a win all round too! Close to the train station, shops and places to eat. 100% recommend and we will be staying again!

Unacceptable level of filth and state for guests.

Southport.

It wasn't clean. The windows were absolutely filthy and the bedroom window broken, it was stuck at 1/2 inch open so couldn't close or open further. Hairs on bedroom windowsill. Filthy cabinets in one bedroom. Stained pillowcase. Damaged sliding wardrobe door and full of stuff inside therefore couldn't hang clothes up. Light switch loose on wall in one bedroom. No wine glasses. No normal mugs. Only plastic tumblers. No spatula for cooking. Empty fairy liquid bottle. No basics as in every other self catering facility we've stayed in such as salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. No kettle, only a boiling water tap with no instruction. We had to clean the frying pan before using it. Dirty microwave. Dirty cutlery drawer. Dirty fridge with pieces of food inside. No terrestrial tv. No lamp in living room so either had to use big light or tiny led lights on media unit which didn't provide enough light. No power points in living room. No dining table, only an unusable breakfast bar beside the bin. No welcome pack or information on how to use anything or information on Southport. The "seating area" outside was a joke. Two filthy chairs behind the flat among ciarette ends and an abandoned car surrounded by overgrown weeds. No table. The front of the property was also full of overgrown weeds and cigarette ends, not very welcoming. When we arrived the flat was boiling and a load of laundry drying in the dryer. There was a used towel left in the bathroom. Overall, the worst self catering apartment we've ever stayed in. The images on booking.com are extremely misleading. They show photos of the beds made with several pillows and cushions, looking lovely whereas in reality both beds had crumpled duvet and one pillow each. The flat was also infested with small flies. Sophie was friendly in her responses to questions before we stayed.
