Both the caves as well as the Sigiriya rock.
The hotel itself is dispersed among lush nature which means the villas are 100% private.
You do not even hear other guests unlike some other hotels of this type.
Our villa was stunning, with all modern features, automation, huge bathroom, and ample space internally to easily host the 5 of us with room to spare. The 2 unique features of the hotel are the restaurant and the pool. The restaurant is perched on the first floor and consists of a beautiful terrace overlooking the forests we views of the hills in the distance. The pool is a large natural pool which is landscaped into the rock and only uses plants to keep the water clean. The water is so refreshing as there are no chemicals in it.
There was nothing I didn’t like of this property.

Let’s start with the facilities, Aarawild is onto something with the different themed luxurious villas (Galmping, mud hut, tree dwelling). And then there is the pool which almost feels like a natural pool. It must be no easy matter to keep it clean and safe - well done. Service was top notch and personal from the entire team as you’d expect. Food was excellent and served in a themed restaurant which adds to the experience.
There was ongoing construction work for new villas which was not at all obtrusive but this was not mentioned until we got there.

The room was truly unique and full of charm. Breakfast was perfect every morning, with fresh and delicious options. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind, warm and attentive — they made our stay unforgettable.

Cet hôtel, qui a très récemment ouvert, est une pépite. Chaque chambre est une maison indépendante d’un style différent, nichée dans la verdure. Au milieu de la nature, dans un respect total de l’environnement, cet hôtel mérite plusieurs nuits. La piscine naturelle, construite dans la roche, est tout simplement magnifique. Vous pouvez, en 30 minutes de marche, surplomber toute la région pour profiter du coucher de soleil. Le staff est d’un gentillesse et d’une attention exceptionnelles, ce qui contribue grandement à rendre le séjour inoubliable. Toujours présent, et en même temps très discret, il répond à vos moindres besoins. Le chef est très doué et nous a régalés tant au petit déjeuner qu’au dîner..Vous l’aurez compris, c’est un vrai coup de cœur pour nous et pas juste un très bel hôtel de plus.
Mention spéciale à Bandara, Kumudu, Gihan et Wiswa pour leur assistance pendant notre séjour 👍
