I had a good stay at Arugambay Resort. The location is very nice and the beach is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. It’s a good place for surfers and also for families or couples who want a peaceful holiday. The beach access is excellent and the atmosphere is calm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugam Bay.

We had an amazing stay at Arugam Bay Resort. The location is perfect — right in front of the beach with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was super comfy, and we slept very well after a long day.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh mango juice with ice cream, which was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Enjoying breakfast with the ocean view and sea breeze made our morning extra special.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They also arranged an early morning Kumana Jeep Safari for us at 5:00 AM, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Everything was well organized and smooth.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Arugam Bay and looking for a relaxing beachfront stay with excellent service, tasty food, and helpful staff. We would definitely love to come back again!

I stayed at Arugam Bay Resort recently and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is perfectly located right by the beach, which creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The room and overall property were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The facilities were great, and it truly felt like good value for money. The fast and reliable Wi-Fi was also very helpful during our stay.
Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Having breakfast with a direct view of the ocean while listening to the waves made it even more enjoyable and peaceful.
Although we stayed only for one night, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The team was very helpful and also arranged a taxi for us from Arugam Bay to Ella at a very reasonable price. The driver was friendly, professional, and the journey was comfortable. The service was provided through Arugam Bay Taxi, and we were very satisfied with it.
Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Arugam Bay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beachside stay with helpful service.

I stayed at Arugam Bay Resort last night and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach, which made everything even more special. The property was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering great facilities and excellent value for money. The free high-speed internet was also a big plus.
The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve had—delicious avocado sandwich, fresh mango juice, and coffee with milk. We were also served a fruit plate. Enjoying breakfast in front of the beach while listening to the sound of the waves was truly a beautiful and relaxing experience with a great vibe.
Originally, we planned to stay in Arugam Bay for just one day, but after this experience, we decided to extend our stay for two more days to fully enjoy our holiday here.
They also organized an early morning surf lesson for us with a great instructor. We really enjoyed it and had so much fun.
Highly recommended—we are very happy with our stay!
Honestly, there was nothing to dislike—everything was perfect.
