We really loved the unique glamping experience, as it was something different and made the trip feel extra special. With only two glamping tents, it felt very private and peaceful. The hosts and staff were incredibly accommodating, and two of the staff members in particular were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved the afternoon tea, the candlelit BBQ dinner by the fire, and the food was excellent, with the chef being both talented and very kind. The team also took us on afternoon walks to see the local wildlife and helped arrange our safari, which made the whole experience feel very personalised. The bed was also extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. Overall, it was a memorable stay with lots of thoughtful touches.

The main downside was the mosquitoes, particularly around the late afternoon between about 4–6pm due to the surrounding swampy areas. We were bitten quite a few times, so I would definitely recommend bringing long-sleeved clothing and long pants. The shower was also cold and the shower base felt a little unstable. We also felt the stay was somewhat overpriced given that meals were an additional cost rather than being included. If the food had been included in the overall price, we would have considered this close to a 10/10 stay.

De locatie was heel erg mooi, het personeel heel beleefd en gastvrij, eten lekker, daarnaast was de tent zelf schoon en was de hygiëne goed. Het avondeten werd chique georganiseerd met kaarslicht en een kampvuur. Ook was één van ons jarig en toen hadden ze heel lief een verjaardagstaart gebracht en gezongen voor haar.

De douche had niet echt een harde straal wat niet heel handig was met je haar wassen.

Pues nos gusto todo! La ubicación es muy cómoda para todo lo que hay que ver alrededor de Dambulla. Las instalaciones preciosas y la casita la mar de cómoda y limpia. La comida excelente!!
