We booked this apartment very last-minute after our flight back home was cancelled and we were left stranded late at night with nowhere to stay. It was almost 11pm, and after struggling to find anywhere available, we took a chance on this apartment despite seeing a previous 1-star review.
I’m so glad we did. The host responded immediately and arranged for someone to meet us at the apartment around midnight, which was incredibly helpful. As the previous host and apartments we tried did not even respond due to the late night.
When we walked into the apartment, we genuinely couldn’t understand how it had received a 1-star review. We were expecting the worst after such a stressful evening, but instead we found a beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment. Everything felt new and well looked after. Towels were provided, washing machine, along with everything we needed for our stay.
After the nightmare of having our flight cancelled and being stranded late at night, finding this place felt like a huge relief.
The apartment was honestly better than many homes/apartments we’ve stayed in. Most importantly, the host was responsive, kind and incredibly helpful when we needed it most.
We took a chance booking this place, and I’m so glad we did. What started as a stressful night ended with us being pleasantly surprised by how lovely and comfortable the apartment was. I did not even want to leave, I felt at home.
