About this house rental
Sun, sea and solitude. Monterey Dunes Colony vacation townhomes are stretched out over a mile of secluded beachfront. Each home has a boardwalk to the beach where you can walk, play, fish, build a sandcastle—or just do nothing. Common area amenities include a swimming pool (April to October) and hot tub; tennis, basketball, volleyball, pickleball and bocce ball courts and a golf driving cage. Located a few minutes from Moss Landing, Monterey Dunes is 18 miles north of Monterey and nine miles south of Watsonville. Three bedrooms (2 Queens, 2 Twins, and a single rollaway) with two baths (one stall shower and one tub/shower combo). NOTE: living room fireplace is currently unusable.The Monterey Dunes Colony is a gated enclave of beachfront vacation homes between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Located near the quaint harbor town of Moss Landing, these properties enjoy a mile of secluded beachfront and numerous outdoor amenities.

Perfect for our family getaway. My grandkids had never spent the night at the beach so they had a blast. The walk to the beach was lovely and we found many seashells along the way. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool amenities. The condo is roomy. The room with the twin beds worked out perfect for the two kids. I loved the view from the master bedroom. Opening the door with just the screen door shut allowed me to fall asleep to the beautiful sounds of the ocean.

The beach was a beautiful, long stretch of white sand with no other people as far as the eye could see! We were just steps from the sand and surf. We could hear the waves from our place and it was serene and so relaxing. The house was welcoming and clean. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The decor was dated and the kitchen was missing a few basics, but our host was able to help us get what we needed by the second day. We enjoyed the on-site jacuzzi. Check-in and checkout were seamless. I would recommend this place.

Nice condo with beautiful views. Spacious, quiet, many amenities. The mentions: sliding screen door off living room is very difficult to open and close. Master bath shower wall appeared to have not been thoroughly cleaned, front yard gate lock worked but is in need of maintenance. Very loose.
