Very friendly host who made us free breakfast. Room was very clean, and there was a ventilator in the room. Even though we booked very last minute, everything was perfect in order!

I had a fantastic stay at Lake Villa Homestay. The location is absolutely perfect—it's tucked away in a quiet, green area right near Thisawewa, making it incredibly peaceful, yet it’s still within easy walking distance to the Mirisawetiya Stupa and very close to the rest of the ancient ruins.
The property itself is clearly well-maintained; my room and bathroom were spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The hosting family is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making sure their guests have a great experience.
For the cleanliness, location, and excellent service, it offers unbeatable value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!
